Purpose

The main goal of ‘JanLabh’ is to collect accurate information of all such schemes and to make available all the information regarding applicable schemes to citizens in a personalized manner, based on the information given by them, in a single click.

About

‘JanLabh’ system is designed and developed by doing detailed analysis and study of various Government schemes, numerous sources of citizens’ information, and various Central and State As well as district level Government Resolutions (GRs). Also, references of various Government Departments’ websites are taken into consideration.

Citizens can visit the nearest MKCL Center and register on the 'JanLabh' portal. According to the personal information or occupation of the citizens, they can choose the scheme's benefits on the 'JanLabh' portal. Probable eligibility of citizens is verified for all benefits / schemes selected as per preference. Citizens are also given information about where to apply and whom to meet to benefit from the schemes for which citizens are eligible through 'JanLabh' service.

Procedure to be followed by citizens while availing the service of 'JanLabh' portal

  1. You should first register yourself by visiting the website https://janlabh.mkcl.org from your smartphone. After registration on 'JanLabh' portal a 12-digit login ID is sent to your registered mobile number which is required to avail services of JanLabh portal in future.

  2. If you do not have a smartphone or if you are not digitally literate, then you should visit the nearest MS-CIT Center and register yourself with the help of a computer trained person / facilitator (Prerak) there. Citizens are expected to arrange certain information to get accurate information of citizens on JanLabh' portal and save valuable time while filling it and verifying probable eligibility for schemes like, personal details, family information, agricultural information, livestock information, health, and educational information etc. along with the necessary documents.

  3. You must fill out the JanLabh portal with your basic information after registering. Subsequently, fill out the portal with details about your Role and specific need. After that, to avail JanLabh portal services to see your likely eligibility for various welfare schemes based on the information you filled, you have to pay the subscription charges of ₹ 100/-online. Post payment, your JanLabh subscription will be active for next year.

  4. To find out your eligibility for the schemes you are interested in, you must fill out the necessary information.

  5. After filling the correct information and answering certain questions correctly, the 'JanLabh' portal will inform you about the schemes you are likely eligible for.

  6. After filling in accurate information and answering questions asked at certain points, ‘JanLabh' will inform citizens about the schemes for which they are likely eligible for. This information will include the name of the probable eligible scheme, the benefits it provides, the documents required to get it and whom to contact to claim the benefits. Citizens can download this information letter. it is also provided the facility to download sample applications, Government GR of other eligible potential schemes, as per their availability.

  7. If you want to take help of nearest MS-CIT Center, the Prerak at the center will fill the information on the JanLabh portal on your behalf. You may have to pay additional fees to the respective Prerak for the service they provide to you. (This fee may be up to a maximum of ₹ 100/- per service) It is your responsibility to provide accurate information here. If hard copy of sample application form or GR is required, you will have to pay extra fee for it. (This charge may range between ₹ 1/- to ₹ 5/- per print)
